Taking control of your life.
Instead of taking over the world, try taking over your own world, focusing on your life and building healthy relationships, getting rid of the toxic, focusing on the most important relationship with yourself, building yourself up within and then building outwards. Build the life you want with the support system you need, then once you built the foundation – conquer the outer world.
5 steps to taking control of your life.
1: Evaluate your life and how it currently runs, remove everything and everyone that drains instead of replenishes you.
2: Ask yourself, ‘What do I want?’ and then realistically write out your wants. Next, write down the goals and steps you will need to take to achieve your dream.
3: Reverse engineer your life goals. Start from the bigger picture and then work backward, breaking down the steps that you will need to take right down to the nitty-gritty.
4: Surround yourself with people that have the same ambition and are as hungry as you are to change their lives. There is no replacement for positive influence that comes from others. When the process becomes hard you’ll be influenced to keep going.
5: Protect your dream! Don’t run your mouth, rattling off the ideas you have. It’s easy to talk but harder to take action, because it requires us to step out of our comfort zone.
