“Poverty entails fear and stress and sometimes depression” -J.K. Rowling
J.K. Rowling’s First Bout With Poverty
As you know I had written about poverty and how it can be in various of forms. I believe Rowling’s first bout with poverty came from the loss of her mother. Whenever there is a hole where something once was or could have been, it can steamroll into the poverty of missing out on something that impacts the person’s life.
Hence, when Rowling wrote about death in her books which later became known as the Harry Potter Series. She had a grasp on the way death made love ones feel and which in turn is one reason why so many have flocked to reading her writing and the beloved stories she continues to put out.
Welfare And How It Benefited Her
Welfare amid controversy can be vital to those who need it and are willing to use it for the sole purpose of what it is there for. With the help of benefits, Rowling was able to take time and write while providing for her daughter.
Although this poverty is what entailed fear, in my humble opinion it was this very hardship and the loss of her mother that influenced the great plot and emotion within her writing.
My Take On How She Was Able To Write Harry Potter
I have this saying that pain is money and for me, it has always held true, the lure of creating something from scratch while going through a storm and going through the emotions of loss we tend to go through stages, and each stage is different for each us.
The relationship that was between us and the loved one we lost, factors in the stages we go through, and then there are some deaths that we had seen coming and went through the stages beforehand.
The deception of emotions is tricky when many choose not to show theirs, which is why for writers we often have our stages show through our writing. Entrepreneurs show their emotions through their products while selling them to customers.
Why Harry Potter Meant So Much To Me
The Harry Potter stories lured me right away with book one. I was shocked to read each descriptive line that J.K. Rowling wrote about the mistreatment that he endured, and that was when I became hooked because I could relate to how Harry felt being in a house feeling unwanted around a cousin that taunted him, same as how a brother of mine would taunt me.
J.K. Rowling created this world that allowed us to get out and live through the characters. I use to so badly wish that someone would come out of the blue and tell me that I was important and that I mattered, and that I was needed.
Hermione and Ron were those friends I wish I had and even though I didn’t have them, those characters set standards on the friends I allowed into my life thereafter.
The Wisdom That Grows From Poverty
The wisdom from our going throughs rise upon us unexpectedly during the rough moments, and when those exact moments are over, the wisdom becomes the light guiding us through a maze of mystery that sometimes leads us to great fortune.
Although there is no beautiful side to poverty during the process there is often beauty to the side of wisdom that comes with it and many have made it to the other side sharing their wisdom.
It is not by coincidence that a good percentage of success stories involve a background of some form of poverty. However, if one had to choose, it would never be poverty that laid the foundation for their background, but since we can’t choose we make with what’s do and build upon the hand that we have been dealt.
